European Gaming Media supports local TEDx Event – TEDxTîrguMureș 2018: Future Unchained

European Gaming Media supports local TEDx EventReading Time: 3 minutes

Transylvania – 13 April 2018 – The team at European Gaming Media and Events (formerly known as EEGMedia/EEGEvents) is honored to announce that they will be supporting the local TEDx Event by sponsoring the guest and speaker lanyards.

A TEDx event is a local gathering where live TED-like talks and videos previously recorded at TED conferences are shared with the community. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis. The content and design of each TEDx event is unique and developed independently, but all of them have features in common.

TEDx events also celebrate creativity and encourage ‘outside of the box’ thinking, which are common with the ideas European Gaming Media has been sharing from its founding.

We are always interested to helping individuals reach their potential and this is probably the main reason why our team is so unique in the industry. Having the opportunity to help shape young minds in the local community is always something that you would like to benefit from in a society…“, stated Zoltan Tundik, Founder, Co-Owner and Head of Business at European Gaming Media.

More about TEDxTîrguMureș 2018

Message from the curator:

Have you ever thought that the future is uncertain? That it looks grim? I always felt that when my plane took off from Tîrgu Mureș International Airport. I’m not afraid of flying, but I was scared of the future of Tîrgu Mureș. I always imagined the future of this great city as a lion chained down to a massive rock. Cats hate that, and so did I.

I always wanted to weaken the chain, but for many years I did almost nothing. In April 2017 my decision to leave London and move back to Tîrgu Mureș was final. Now I have a mission: to unchain the future of our city.

Do you believe in the TEDx movement? Do you believe in the power of personal stories? So do I, and we are not alone! I was fortunate to find a dedicated and entirely awesome team sharing my vision to help with the chain-breaking. We will bring you TEDxTirguMures. First in 2018, and hopefully for the years to come.

On the 14th of April 2018, we will share the stories which will break the chains of the city! Twelve excellent speakers in The Culture Palace will rattle the chains and hopefully the audience. Not just any twelve speakers. We don’t want to bring you the rule-followers or the permission-seekers. We want to show you the shapers of the future. Those who had the willpower to unchain their minds, and ultimately unchain your future.

For us to succeed, we need only one person. You. And behind you, hundreds and hundreds, who will echo your thoughts. This is how we will unchain the future of Tîrgu Mureș on the 14th of April 2018.
