Increase in tribal casino slot revenues in March

There has been a good increase in the revenues of Connecticut tribal casinos in March.

Foxwoods Resort Casino, owned by the Mashantucket Pequots, registered $43.6 million in slot revenues last month, up by 12.7% the same period last year.

The amount slot bettors wagered in March, known as the “handle,” was $516.4 million, up by 4.4% from that of March 2017.

Mohegan Sun received slot revenue of $54.8 million, compared to $52.6 million a year ago. Its handle increased to $682.5 million compared to $644.3 received during the same period last year.
