Marathonbet has relaunched it online wagering site in Russia after it temporarily suspended the platform earlier this year.
The online gambling operator rolled out its Russia-facing sports betting site in July last year.
Customers wanting to wager online via Marathonbet.ru have been required to register at one of the firm’s retail outlets in the country in order to access the service.
However, according to Betting Business, Marathonbet in February this year took down its site in Russia.
At the time, Marathonbet said it was for “technical reasons” but later admitted that it needed to obtain a new licence in Russia after changing the location of its “processing centre of interactive rates”.
Marathonbet.ru is now running as normal and registered punters in the country are again able to place bets across a range of sports.
