Betsson Group, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, has a long history of supporting winter sports and is proud to announce that Betsson Sweden will be the new partner for the Grönklitt Criterium race.
With 14 races over 10 weekends in six different countries, the 14th edition of Ski Classics is well underway. Sweden is hosting two races, the Vasaloppet and now the Grönklitt Criterium.
-Johan Sares, Facility Manager at Orsa Grönklitt, says, “We are very happy to have Betsson as the new partner to the Grönklitt Criterium. Betsson has a long tradition of supporting winter sports, and they are well known for their commitment to ice hockey but also cross-country skiing, such as the Swedish Ski competition in Falun.”
Thanks to attractive TV formats and the mix of amateur and world class skiers, interest in the Ski Classics has increased in recent years. For the second year in a row, the entire Ski Classic will be broadcast live on Sveriges Television (SVT). As part of the sponsorship, Betsson will appear on the skiers’ clothing and along the race, as well as offering odds on the top skiers.
– Robin Olenius, PR Manager at Betsson Sweden, says, “We are excited to contribute to a more enjoyable and engaging experience for everyone by supporting the race and offering odds on the skiers. We have sponsored several sporting events over the years, but Grönklitt Criterium is a unique event that brings together amateur enthusiasts and the world’s elite, and we are proud to be part of it.”
The Grönklitt Ski Classics will start on February 18, 2023, with a mass start for the women at 08:00 AM and for the men at 10:30 AM.
